The Intercultural Support Workers works with the Social Inclusion.
Supporting Ukrainian community
Community Activation Programme (SICAP) team in supporting their response to the needs of Ukrainian Refugees located in County Roscommon. The Intercultural Support Worker acts as a support and link person for Ukrainian refugees living in Roscommon.
They co-ordinate day to day activities and organise support, to include providing advice, guidance and translation supports where necessary.
They work as part of the SICAP team to support clients into our complimentary services, training and capacity building and refer clients to other relevant agencies as necessary.
Support the formation and development of a Ukrainian Community Group to provide a safe space for the Ukrainian community to identify and articulate their needs on an ongoing basis.
