Roscommon County Childcare committee in conjunction with Roscommon County Council are co-ordinating County Roscommon Play day 2020 announced by The Minister for Children, Disability, Equality and Integration, Roderic O’Gorman TD as part of national play day.
It will take place on Saturday 4th July under the theme of Playful Communities, Playful Homes and due to Covid 19 this will be an online event. There will be lots of activities for parents and families to enjoy throughout the day. Online workshops include Keep Fit, Music and Movement, Circle time, Workshop for parents on supporting your child, Music workshop, story time with Roscommon county library, science experiments and an online competition with vouchers for play attractions in county Roscommon. Roscommon County Play day will be launched online by the Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council Councillor Laurence Fallon, at 10am on Saturday July 4th 2020.
