Empowering Young Entrepreneurs to progress in Circular Economy
CirculYOUNG is a European Social Fund+ project designed to upskill migrant youth NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) by fostering entrepreneurship and circular economy practices to encourage sustainable employment. The initiative offers tailored training programs and resources for both young people and youth workers, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in a green economy. The project primarily supports migrant youth NEETs seeking employment or entrepreneurial opportunities, as well as youth workers and educators who require tools to better assist migrant communities. Additionally, CirculYOUNG collaborates with organizations and policymakers involved in youth entrepreneurship and sustainability, ensuring a comprehensive approach to empowering marginalized groups and promoting eco-friendly economic practices.
CirculYOUNG is led by a consortium of expert organizations across Europe, including:
- Roscommon LEADER Partnership (Ireland)
- Training 2000 (Italy) – Specializing in vocational education and workforce development.
- CRADLE (Greece) – Focused on social innovation, circular economy, and youth empowerment.
- BildungsLab (Austria) – Experts in educational methodologies and entrepreneurship training.

Together, these partners bring extensive experience in education, skills development, and sustainable entrepreneurship to support migrant youth NEETs in building meaningful career pathways.
Project Objectives
CirculYOUNG aims to equip migrant youth NEETs with practical skills for green jobs and entrepreneurial ventures while providing inclusive and accessible education and career pathways. The project also seeks to increase awareness of circular economy opportunities and sustainable business practices. Additionally, it focuses on developing innovative learning materials and toolkits to enhance the quality of training for both youth and educators.
Key Activities & Outputs
To achieve its goals, CirculYOUNG offers comprehensive training programs and workshops on green entrepreneurship and the circular economy. The project also develops educational toolkits for youth workers to improve training delivery and creates an interactive online learning platform with accessible resources. Through community outreach, networking, and engagement initiatives, the project promotes inclusivity and sustainability.
Expected Results & Impact
CirculYOUNG anticipates increased employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for migrant youth, along with enhanced business and sustainability skills for long-term career growth. The project also aims to foster greater adoption of circular economy principles in youth initiatives and training programs. By strengthening skills-building and social cohesion efforts, it supports better community integration.
