Local Training Initiative LTI
LTI Ballaghaderreen is a local Training initiative which is a joint collaboration between Roscommon LEADER Partnership and GRETB (Galway Roscommon Training Board) and was set up in 2017. In 2019, an extension of the Ballaghaderreen LTI was set up in Boyle.

Training centres
Our training centres aim to provide accessible education options to those living in the Ballaghaderreen and Boyle areas of Roscommon. All courses on offer are free to complete and there are no fees associated with completing the courses on offer. Learners can study a variety of modules which are all certified by QQI.
The course content includes the use of a range of ICT applications and packages. The course aims to retrain people for entry or re-entry into the workplace. It is also suitable to allow progression to higher levels of training and education. The level 5 courses provide a steppingstone for college as there is the opportunity to achieve 390 CAO points.
