Recruitment – Early Years Educators

The Early Years Educator will assist in the planning and implementation of an age appropriate stimulating programme of activities underpinned by Aistear and Síolta and the teachings of a play-based curriculum. They will guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the team, will work in close co-operation with the Manager and the other team members, will act, if required as a key worker to specified children, and ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in thrie care.

The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team and have:

• Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education is essential
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in Childcare setting is desirable but not essential  
• Competent in consideration of the needs of children  
• Good Communication and relating to skills with children, staff and parents  
• Up to date knowledge of legislation and regulations   
• Updated Children’s first safeguarding regulations and reporting procedures  
• Satisfactory references and Garda vetting will be required prior to employment

Salary: €14 per hour, with increase to €15 per hour following successful completion of probationary period

Annual Leave: 21 days per annum plus 3 Additional Company Allocated Leave Days, on a pro-rata basis
