    RECRUITMENT - Minibus Driver

    Part-Time 19.5 hours per week

    Mo Chairde is a Day & Activity Centre and a Community Food Services Programme who provide a vital range of social and health supports to older people and adults living with a disability to enable them to remain as independent as possible in their own homes and communities.

    Mo Chairde are currently seeking to recruit a part-time Minibus Driver for their service.

    The Minibus Driver will be responsible for driving the centre minibus and delivery of dinners via centre van if required.

     
    Candidates will work as part of a team and should have:
    • A full clean Driving Licence with category D1 (essential)
    • Experience of working with older people is desirable but not essential
    • Good spoken English
     

    Part time position, based in Keadue, Co. Roscommon.

    19.5 hours per week- 3 days per week - daytime, local work.

    Satisfactory references and Garda vetting will be required.

    RECRUITMENT - Tus Supervisor

    with special responsibility for Administration
     
    Tús is a community work placement scheme which provides short-term work opportunities for unemployed people. Tús works with not-for-profit groups and organisations providing supports and assisting them in delivering services within local communities.

    The person appointed will support RLP in delivering the Tús scheme in Co. Roscommon. They will work as part of the Tús team supervising participants and will report directly to the Tús Lead Supervisor. 

    The Supervisor will have special responsibility for the Administration of the Tus Scheme. 

    The successful candidate will be expected to work on a variety of project areas.

     

    Requirements criteria:

    Eligibility Criteria:

    ● Minimum of a nationally recognised third level qualification (Level 6 or higher on the national framework of qualifications)

    ● Previous management/supervisory experience – at minimum at least two years in one single time period of work experience

    ● Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy in terms of both work application and qualifications, a combination of both to a high level is a minimum requirement

    ● Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and MS Office is a minimum requirement

    ● Relevant Health and Safety qualification/certification

    ● Demonstrate community development work experience and knowledge and ability to work with communities to realise projects from concepts in plans to actual projects delivered

    ● Demonstrate ability to recruit, relate to and support participants

    ● Full driver’s licence with access to transport at all times during the working week

     

    Desirable:

    · Knowledge and experience of general maintenance

    · Good communication and inter-personal skills

    · Ability to work as part of a team

    Recruitment - TRAINING OFFICER

    Part-Time 28 hours per week

    WORK LINKS ROSCOMMON is a project that aims is to train and support people with disabilities to complete certified and non-certified training that will increase their employment prospects, support them into work placements, and enable them to secure jobs. The project will work with employers to empower and upskill them to provide employment to people with disabilities through provision of information, HR support and training for their existing employees.

     

    The TRAINING OFFICER will focus on the co-ordinating, arranging and facilitating of all required training including accredited, non-accredited, Asdan and Industry certified training.

    Essential Criteria requirements:

    • Third level or professional qualification in Community Development; Education or a Social Science discipline or related field
    • Experience of working with people with disabilities desirable
    • A current full driving licence and access to own transport

    Conditions of Work:

    • This is a PART-TIME POSITION; 28 hours a week, flexibility in terms of working hours is required in terms of delivering the programme
    • Fixed term contract to the 31.12.2023, which may be extended subject to funding
    • A probationary period six months will apply
    • Travel expenses will be paid where appropriate
    • This role is office based and on an outreach basis based on business need from any of the Roscommon LEADER Partnership extensive range of offices, or those of our partner organisations
    • Salary is €29,068 gross (based on 28 hours a week).

    Recruitment - AIM Early Years Educator

    Part-Time
    The AIM (Access and Inclusion Model) Early Years Educator will support the development and delivery of the Aistear Curriculum under the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) programme, working in a child-centred and child-lead environment where the health and well-being of the child is of the upmost priority at all times.

     

    Location: Ballaghaderreen

    Contract: ECCE term time calendar contract 38 weeks

    Hours of Work: 15 hours per week (longer hours available if required)

    Working Schedule: Monday to Friday 09.30 – 12.30

    Annual Leave: 21 days plus additional company leave days on a pro rata basis
