Co. Roscommon Traveller Health Programme
The aim of the programme is to increase the health and wellbeing of the Traveller Community in County Roscommon. The programme is funded under the Traveller Health Unit Western Region HSE and managed through Roscommon LEADER Partnership.
The programme focuses on the priority areas set out in the All Ireland Traveller Health Study:
- Respiratory and Heart Diseases
- Mental Health
- Men’s Health
- Domestic Violence
- Drugs and Alcohol
- Mother and Infant Services
- Strengthening links with Public Health Nurses
- Cancer Screening
