Ballaghaderreen Resource Centre
Northwest Roscommon CDP Ltd trading since 2012 as Community Resource Centre, is a company limited by guarantee and managed by a Voluntary Management Committee. The company was formed in 2003 to deliver the Community Development Programme which was funded by Department of Community Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
Today the Community Resource Centre is a one stop shop for people in the Ballaghaderreen and surrounding areas, offering a range of services, information, training and supports in a safe, friendly and confidential environment. The Centre employees 25 Staff directly through the Department of Social Protection funded programmes.
The Resource Centre is further supported by six staff from Roscommon LEADER Partnership under the SICAP and the TÚS Programme. The Management Committee, and the Centre are supported by staff of Roscommon LEADER Partnership on a daily basis.

- Rural Social Car Scheme
- Lakes and Legends Tourism Project
- Traveller Health Programme
- Computer training courses
- Other training courses e.g. gardening, healthcare etc
- Walk in clients
- Support to the Voluntary Management Committee of CDP
